The Yabakei Dam is a 62.0 meter high gravity-type concrete dam under the direct control of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism managed by the Kyushu Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
