American architect and attorney

Max Kalman (24 December 1884 – 14 June 1963) was a Jewish architect and attorney in Boston, Massachusetts in the early 1900s, most notable for designing the Vilna Shul synagogue on Beacon Hill, Boston in 1919.

History

Max M. Kalman was born in Russia on Christmas 1884 to Joseph and Fannie Kalman nee Lipshitz. Kalman married Bessie Richmond and they had 6 children together. He died on the 13th or 14th of June 1963 in Dallas,Texas, USA.
