The Mountain Headquarters of the Krushevo Insurgent District was the insurgent governing institution of the short-lived Kruševo Republic, during the 1903 Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising. Its headquarters was headed by Nikola Karev. The Forest staff was formed at the Smilevo Congress of the Bitola revolutionary district. it was responsible for managing the uprising in the Krushevo Revolutionary Region. All the rebel forces in Krushevo were under its command, and it was subordinated to the Headquarters of the Bitola revolutionary district. Nikola Karev, Toma Niklev, Todor Hristov and Antigon Hadzhov entered the Forest staff. The Forest staff existed until December 12, 1903, when by order of Dame Gruev and the General Staff of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization, all the Forest staffs were disbanded and their powers were returned to the governing bodies.
