Current season

The F4 Middle East Championship is an FIA-certified Formula 4 racing series, started in 2025. Previously known as Formula 4 UAE Championship, the series was renamed F4 Middle East Championship by its promoters (Top Speed China) as it expanded the calendar by adding races outside the United Arab Emirates.

History

Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 was to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are also regulated. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30,000 and a single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000.

Format

The race weekends will consist of two qualifying sessions, which will determine the grids for races 1 and 3. The grid for race 2 will be set by reversing the top 10 from race one's results.
