Adams Township is one of fourteen townships in Madison County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,892 and it contained 1,614 housing units.

It was named for Abraham Adams, a pioneer settler.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.07 square miles (93.4 km), of which 36.05 square miles (93.4 km) (or 99.94%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km) (or 0.06%) is water.
