Magomed Hozhakhmedovich Daudov (born 26 February 1980, Shpakovskoe village, Stavropolskiy Region, RSFSR, USSR), also known as Lord, is a military and political figure of the Chechen Republic. He is a Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic since 4 October 2016. In 2007, he was honored with the Order of Hero of the Russian Federation.

Magomed Daudov was born in the Chechen family. He graduated a high school №1 in Geldagan (Kurchaloyevsky district, the Chechen Republic). He fought with Chechen separatists against Russian armed forces. He was amnestied and started his service in law enforcement of the Russian Federation. The Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said that Magomed Daudov is a good example of reformed militant:

"There are dozens of former members of the illegal armed groups in this hall. We did not kill them. We gave them a chance to redeem themselves. And now they have the Orders of Courage and other awards of the Russian Federation. They are commanding Special Forces and among them is the Hero of the Russian Federation, Police Lieutenant Colonel Magomed Daudov, that got captured by us, but we did not kill him."

In 2004, he graduated from Dagestan State University with a major in Finance and Credit.

In 2009, he graduated from Makhachkala Institute of Finance and Law with a major in "Jurisprudence."

In 2011, he graduated from the Academy of Management of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a major in "Jurisprudence."

Military and political career

From 2000 to 2002, he served in Russian armed forces.

From 2002 to 2004, he commanded the Security Service of the President of the Chechen Republic.

Since 2004, he served in traffic police (Commander of the regiment №2 company of the traffic police of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic).

Since February 2005, he was a Commander of traffic police battalion of the Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Shali district.

Since November 2006, he was a detective officer in Anti-Kidnapping Division (Investigative Department №2 against organized crime of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic). Since December 2006, he was the Assistant of the Chief of this Department and then worked as the Head of a special-forces unit of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic.

From April 2007 to March 2010, was the Head of Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Shali district

He is a Police Colonel. From March 2010 to May 2012, was the first Assistant of the Chairman of Government of the Chechen Republic.

On 21 May 2012, he was appointed to the post of the Head of the Administration of the Head and Government of the chechen Republic.

On 3 July 2015, he was elected to the position of the Chairman of Parliament of the Chechen Republic. On 4 October 2016, he was reelected to the same position.

Other achievements

Since 2011, he is a President of the Football Club "Terek."

Fight against terrorism

Magomed Daudov conducted a lot of special operations against terrorist bands in Chechnya. On 13 February 2006, Magomed Daudov and his soldiers blocked Jabrail Abdurzakov aka "Scar" in Urus-Martan, Chechnya. The bandit opened fire after which was killed by Magomed Daudov.

In September 2006, Magomed Daudov planned and led a special operation to destroy Muskiev brothers. Isa Muskiev, known as "Emir Khalid," was a leader of terrorist bands from Argun city and Shalinsky and Kurchaloyevsky districts.

In 2007, Daudov managed to eliminate a Brigadier General of "Ichkeria," northeastern front commander Tahir Bataev. Tahir Bataev's terrorist band killed dozens of police officers and civilians.

In 2007, Magomed Daudov got information about Vice Prime Minister of the unrecognized Chechen Republic of Ichkeria Suleyman Imurzaev, known as "Emir of Vedensky district." Suleyman Imurzaev was responsible for the explosion that killed the First President of the Chechen Republic Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov on 9 May 2004 in Grozny. On 4 April 2007, Daudov ambushed Imurzaev. Suleyman Imurzaev was killed in this battle.

On 25 July 2007, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin awarded a Police Captain Magomed Daudov the title of the Hero of the Russian Federation for bravery and heroism in the line of duty.

Personal life

Magomed Daudov is married and has ten children.
