Golem is a New York City-based Eastern European folk-punk band. Most songs are in Yiddish os Slavic langauges, yet their fan base of 20-somethings shows them to be on the forefront of a revival of Jewish culture in popular music typified by performers including rapper Mattisyahu.
History
Golem was founded in 2001 by band leader Annette Ezekiel.
