Current President is Steven H. Wong, PhD, and the association headquarters are located in Washington, D.C. (USA)
AACC Local Sections
AACC is subdivided geographically into 20 local sections. Members can also choose to join any of the 17 divisions segmented according to areas of interest. The association is governed by a Board of Directors that is elected by the membership.
Annual Conference
AACC sponsors dozens of scientific conferences each year, the largest and most prestigious of which is the Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo. First held in 1949, this educational meeting and technology exposition is a leading event in the clinical laboratory profession, attracting nearly 20,000 participants.
Lab Tests Online
Lab Tests Online is a peer-reviewed, patient-centered web resource focused on clinical laboratory testing. It is a resource to help patients and their caregivers better understand the many clinical lab tests that are part of routine medical care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of conditions and diseases.
