KQTV, Channel 2, is the only local broadcast television station serving the St. Joseph, Missouri area. It is an ABC affiliate owned by the Nexstar Broadcasting Group. It was at one point a CBS affiliate.
James Hershiser, brother of former Cy Young Award winner Orel Hershiser, was the longtime sportscaster at this station. (Ironically, Orel Hershiser now works at ESPN, a sister company to ABC.)
