When you put up an article for speedy deletion, what criteria you use matters. I recently declined your speedy deletion nomination on Forgotten Voices Photo Journal, because it wasn't actually promotional. I replaced it with a PROD, because the A7 criteria doesn't fit (the A7 criteria is for people or groups of people, musicians or bands, clubs, companies or organizations, web content, animals, and events), and there's no other fitting criteria. I talked to you about the criteria for A7 speedy deletion at Talk:A Harlem Love Song. Also, if you put up an article for speedy deletion, be sure to notify the author of the article. Hello 69.181.253.230. You tagged a page for speedy deletion, but you did not notify the article's creator that it had been so tagged. There is strong consensus that the creators of articles tagged for speedy deletion should be warned and that the person placing the tag has that responsibility. All of the major speedy deletion templates contain a pre-formatted warning for this purpose—just copy and paste to the creator's talk page. Thank you.Template:Z19 – 296.x (talk) 23:20, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to James Robert Ford may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave my operator a message on his talk page. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 03:20, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Is only one season. That hasn't changed. It's still on Hulu right now but I'm not sure about SyFy ownership rights. Park Entertainment has it up for distribution here . Alatari (talk) 09:55, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm EuroCarGT. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Talk:Rezaya that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ///EuroCarGT 21:59, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

John J. O'Connor
To User 69.181.253.230 You deleted a revision and update regarding John J. O'Connor (journalist). I thank you for taking time to review the article. However I personally knew Mr. O'Connor for over 25 years and I can accurately speak about his being a philanthropist and about his personal life outside of the New York Times. If you would like to see more photos (where he is shown) or if you would like to see some of his letters addressed to me to confirm my statements, by all means, please let me know and I will gladly email them to you. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Takehimtocourt (talk • contribs) 02:01, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi 69.181.253.230. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for User:Fireproofgames, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Only one section was promotional Dark Sun (talk) 17:53, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

- Since when are USER pages allowed to be used as articles, especially by corporate accounts? 69.181.253.230 (talk) 17:57, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- They're allowed to be used as draft articles, I will report the username to UAA. Dark Sun (talk) 18:01, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Also, please remember to notify the user about the deletion. --Jprg1966 22:12, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

Breaking 3RR on Michael H. Prosser
Your recent editing history at Michael H. Prosser shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 04:56, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- I dispute that. Many of my reversions were to remove copyright violations. Unless WP has changed policy lately, reverting copyvios don't count as 3RR violations. 69.181.253.230 (talk) 21:45, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
