Kelly Sutherland (born April 18, 1971, in Richmond, British Columbia) is a National Hockey League referee, who wears uniform number 11. He was one of the selected referees who officiated the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals along with Bill McCreary, Dan O'Halloran and Stephen Walkom. He was selected again to officiate the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals.
Kelly Sutherland was in the press in 2013 when his officiating during the San Jose Sharks vs. Vancouver Canucks was called into question. Further, it has been claimed that Sutherland's decisions in game 4 where prejudiced by an exchange he had with Vancouver coach earlier The heavy handed stance by Sutherland in game 4 of the season is evidenced with the 7 - 4 penalty count against the Vancouver Canucks
