- WUTC (FM) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) Has been the target of persistent vandalism for a week or more. Usually once or twice a day, from multiple IP's and at least one registered user. I am approaching the three revert rule so I cannot continue to police the article myself. The vandals constantly change the page to a complaint about WUTC management. Not my leg 17:36, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- Art Smith (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) and Fort Wayne, Indiana (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) and Carroll High School (Fort Wayne, Indiana) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) are being vandalized by a vandal using sockpuppets. - The Schrödinger's cat (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) page has been the target of persistent and very explicit, not to mention unpleasant, vandalism. The word vandalism has even been used by the vandals. Many attempts to revert vandalism have been defeated, or partially failed. David R. Ingham 07:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- Several impostors have been noticed and blocked (note the misspellings): ClockwrokSoul (talk · contribs), David R. Ingharn (talk · contribs), Faseidrnan (talk · contribs). Continued vigilance is requested. - mako 21:14, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

- I would like to strongly complain about the administrator User: Ral315 who banned me for 3 revert rule when it was the person I had complained about who had violated the rule. This admin seems to think he can make up rules as he goes along. Here is my response to this administrators comments on my talk page: Either I violated the 3revert rule or I didn't. Either User:Ardenn violated the 3 revert rule or he didn't. He deleted my edit FOUR times. I wasn't "gaming" anything. I didn't "dog" Arden I made a complaint that he had violated the 3 revert rule, that he had committed vandalizing by accusing me of vandalizing in the summary, of making deletions with no reason given, of making accusations of sockpuppet on my user page, of threatening to have me banned from Misplaced Pages, and of deleting the notice of 3rr complaint I had posted on his talk page. I will now re-make the complaint against that user as well as file a complaint against you for abusing your administrator privledges. I would like his administrator privledges removed. I would like the user User:Ardenn banned for 3 rr and vandalism, and I would like an apology.Anderson12 07:34, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- Here is the posting on Ardenns talk page by an administrator on the matter I am complaining about here: Ardenn, you have violated the Three revert rule (3RR) on the page Freemasonry. You may be blocked for violating the 3RR. Also, you don't seem to understand the difference between vandalism and content by using false and misleading edit summaries like "rvv". Please read Misplaced Pages:Vandalism.--Commander Keane 05:12, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Anderson12 07:46, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- Jrfras1988 (talk • contribs • page moves • block user • block log) looks to be a teenager with a POV political agenda and an axe to grind and is repeatedly POV vandalising and/or wikispamming Fort Wayne, Indiana and Carroll High School (Fort Wayne, Indiana). I have warned this user via user talk page about how to community edit both articles. Please watch. -- Davodd 07:26, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- Monicasdude (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) keeps vandalizing my user page. Ardenn 15:59, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- User:Ardenn is a sockpuppet of User:Spinboy; pointing this out is not vandalism. Monicasdude 16:04, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- I am not a sockpuppet of anyone. He should assume good faith. Ardenn 16:05, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- You've been posting bad faith notices about other users for months; and I'm not the only user to make this observation. WP:AGF doesn't call for other editors to ignore evidence of bad faith, like the fake vandalism and sockpuppet notices you've been putting up lately. Monicasdude 16:10, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

- Systema (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - User:Sam Spade merged several topics without discussion, and is now reverting corrections without discussion. // -- Sy / 16:24, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- This was discussed at great lenthy months ago when I made the original merger. I don't know what this user is so excited about, but the are NOT new mergers, and he is reverting months of edits. Sam Spade 16:30, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- You added merge links and then merged it in the same hour. Then when legitimate contributors complained you ignored them and continued reversion. Now you're mindlessly reverting without even reading the discussion. I am hand-editing to save all additional contributions. -- Sy / 16:34, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- Dude, take a deep breath! Stop w the personal attacks. Read these links:
- Sam Spade 16:43, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- What personal attacks? Here is some truth: You merged without discussing first. When you wrote on Talk:Systema#merge everyone said no but you did it anyway. Then you started reverting their corrections. There is no discussion on User_talk:Sam_Spade/_-_archive/Januar_2006#Systema. User_talk:Sam_Spade/_-_archive/Februar_2006#Misplaced Pages:Merge_of_Combatives_and_Close_combat is unrelated. Go away. All of your changes have been corrected, all mid-disaster adjustments which others have contributed to have been seen and absorbed. I will continue to patrol these topics to prevent you from ruining them. See Talk:Systema for discussion, including the plain reasons why these topics have to be separate. "Let's merge apples and oranges.. they're both fruit!" is wrong. Stop it and go away. -- Sy / 16:55, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

- Merge tag inserted 06:39, 5 January 2006 , merging started 08:02, 5 January 2006 , merge tag removed 08:16, 5 January 2006 . Merging announcement at talk page made at 08:13, 5 January 2006 . So, it has not been discussed at all, no time was given. So, do not claim it was discussed. - ECourier (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - An anonomous user User:213.208.108.44 is putting up spam links on this article as well as other, related articles (see Courier (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)). The link is simply an advertisement. See additional commentary on Requests for page protection (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). The spam links have been removed for now, but are likely to be put back up again soon.
- Talk:Simon Strelchik (edit | ] | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - User User:CasanovaAlive keeps blanking this page, I've reverted it 3 or 4 times already and we've warned him on his talk page. Any help would be appreciated. // pm_shef 23:34, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- National Lawyers Guild (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - Several editors have been blanking about 75% of the content on this article for most of the day. The change they keep making is the one here and it changes this article from four detailed paragraphs to only one. The original edit where this change was made also has an Edit Summary that shows it is being done for political reasons . This vandalism happened all afternoon by an anonymous guy who blanked it 3 times as an anonymous and is probably the same guy who made the original delete. Three different people spent the afternoon restoring the article against this vandal - me, User:Tawker, and User:Latinus, who also left the anonymous vandal a warning. Then this evening User:Calton began an edit war to restore the blanking. When I told Calton it was vandalism he attacked me (accused me of McCarthyism ) and said my definition of blanking was wrong since he was only deleting 3/4ths of the article . I showed him the definition of blanking from WP:Vandalism that says Blanking is "Removing all or significant parts of articles." Calton ignored this and keeps reverting to the blanked version of it. He is also being helped by User:Gamaliel who has posted several rude and inconsistent block threats against me on my talking page for undoing the blanking and for other political disputes - an abuse of his sys-op power. Somebody who is neutral please help! -- ColonelS 06:51, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- Patricia Ann Priest (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - The latest in a long line of "DickWitham" sockpuppets (User:Eat At Joes and User:168.16.202.54) are being used to revert this article to a version that violates WP:MOSDATE (specifically, using "1960's" in place of the correct "1960s". The individual has been given the benefit of the doubt (only as a formality) and has been asked to consult the style manual before he edits again, and has been nothing but rude and confrontational in response. Reported here so that this user can be corralled and avoid this turning into another needless 3RR debate/debacle. - Chadbryant 02:59, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- Please keep whatever petty little persecution wars you believe you may have out of an entry of this magnitude, Chad. There is no "edit war" and there is no "sockpuppet" in place attempting any so-called "edit war." You have been informed on this prior to your posting in here; please stop trying to manipulate the Misplaced Pages administrators into doing your warped dirty work for you. It would be most appreciated. As for being "rude and confrontational in response," your behavior on Misplaced Pages speaks for itself, Mr. Hypocrite. You were told that any remarks you left on my talk page would be removed or reverted; there is even a statement at the top of the page stating so, and it has been there long before you decided to throw one of your cyber temper tantrums on Misplaced Pages again as you are doing today. --Eat At Joes 03:04, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

- Oral sex (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - An anonymous user using various IP addresses at the University of Houston, who signs his edit summaries with "Nathaniel", continues to delete images from this page. It is difficult to warn the user about this as he uses a different IP address for each edit. While technically not violating WP:3RR, history shows that this user has removed the images 4 times since February 21. The user is also engaging in wikistalking (see this comment that was removed as a personal attack, indicating that the user found this page from my user contributions page and chose to edit it because of his dispute with me over a different article). His comments on the relevant talk page section imply that he thinks I originally uploaded these images to Misplaced Pages, and that he is removing them because of his prior dispute with me. In this edit to the talk page, the user indicates he is aware that Misplaced Pages is not censored for the protection of minors, but that nonetheless, he intends to continue removing these images. I suggest semiprotecting the article or temporarily blocking this IP range. Catamorphism 07:35, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

The user at this IP (and the apparently related 216.188.240.171 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log)) is a repeat vandal who has previously received warnings and a 12-hour ban. - I'm not convinced Facedisplayer is intending vandalism here. He/she wants to contribute material on band called Pax Romana, and doesn't seem to have heard of disambiguation, or the concept that two quite different things with the same name need separate articles.—Copey 2 14:08, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

- NiMUD (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - User:Atari2600tim continually reverts edits without any reason other than to revert to his own version, doesn't cite and fails to heed warnings against his vandalism by many users who are working on that page. We're fed up with it and request he be banned from editing the article. We've given him 7 warnings. he reverts the page daily to his own version, doesn't add anything, and fails to cite when he does, often overwriting already cited texted or just plainly vandalizing the page back to his own version out of vanity. He's been exploiting the 3RR rule by creating revision wars and then requesting others be banned who stick up for the article's progress. His version that he keeps reverting to is over two weeks old and is not nearly as extensive nor concise. He cites rules like "article length" which is not a Wiki rule. // 151.201.48.208 02:45, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- Presumably, admin actually do look at stuff before randomly banning people based on what some anon person says. This report is a retaliatory accusation based on the 3RR reports which I made against him and his sock puppets. A few days ago he violated 3RR as Eggster and an IP, got banned for 24 hours, got proven to be the same person via CheckUser, then created a new user name and went onto another IP at the same computer lab, and violated 3RR by doing 4 reverts on the 14th and at least 4 more on the 15th. Please point out what you feel is vandalism, as the admin don't have time to look at every edit of mine and try to figure out which one you think is vandalism. The temporary lack of discussion on the talk page may have had something to do with when you blanked the talk page. Also, the "article length" edits have all been by you; all of my own edits have been discussed and supported on the talk page, while none of yours have been. - 151.201.48.208 is the vandal. He's the only user on the page using multiple socks and continually makes really dumb mistakes in signatures and then redits them with different user names. He's even reverted an Admin on the page in question. Surely this report is retaliation for multiple reports of 3RR violations on his part. See Jlambert 13:45, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- Calvin and Hobbes (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - Over the past month or two, there has been a repeated effort to change the setting to "western New York" by a number of registered and unregeistered users. The registered user (there may be more than one) seems to have registered the account specifically to edit this page. There is verified source material (the West interview) that specifically describes the setting as "midwestern" in character. Other than a constant edit-revert stalemate, something should be done. Thank you. // Avi 15:22, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
- Speed limit (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - Taors has repeatedly vandalized speed limits with pointless statements along the lines of "If you push it to the limit, your safety is not guaranteed." Here are several occasions where this statement has been added:
- Note that the last four edits were done anonymously, but since they contain almost the exact same wording as the edit made by Taors, it almost certain they are by the same person. // Nova SS 14:44, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

I have left test2a warnings for User:Heteren, User:CDB1, and User:199.223.47.3, though I suspect this is not enough; the discussion should probably be reverted to before the nastiness began, otherwise sorting out the good-faith comments would be too painstaking... // ProhibitOnions 20:05, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

- The page Jehovah's Witnesses is being vandalized now for several days, by User:Cmc6954. This is evidenced by his contributions. I have left repeated notes on his discussion page. Not sure what more I can do. joshbuddy 17:08, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

- I dont want to name names, but what is going on at the dental amalgam controversy page is straight up ridiculous. Phantom edits, difussed accountability, research denials, random vandalism - you name it, this topic has seen it. I have tried my best to research and fix that article - whenever I post changes they just always gets removed. There is so much hatred on each side of the issue. That page needs to be re-written in consultation with some serious established wikipedia people to give it the credibility that I do not have. I would still be willing to help if you can get this vandalism to stop. Staypuftman 23:55, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

- Cuba (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (and some other related articles) --repeated professional vandalism (and POV vio) by user:205.240.227.15. User bases edits on sites such as cuban dissident websites (how really terrible), and biased sites such as worldnetdaily.com (absolutely shocking). Also has sourced reputable sites, but source does not actually apply to the particular anti-communist snip (sure you guys rarely can read Spanish well). In progress for a few years now (no way) .03:29, 11 February 2006 (UTC) My crimes seem to be to correct pro-Castro POV and to know and write far more precisely about Cuba than my critics. This, is logical since I grew up and was educated there and served in Castro's forces in the mountains and the plains. This circumstance irritates those who are engaged in promoting a pro-communist pro-Castro agenda. El Jigüe 2-12-06

With the games starting today, media coverage will be enormous. - Reinell (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - Has been repeatedly vandalized over the last few weeks by several anon IPs, including (but certainly not limited to) 216.101.114.13, 69.60.111.5, and 67.121.120.231. Every time, a giant block of irrelevant, factually incorrect text has been inserted. These users have been individually warned but it's still vandalized once every few days. The talk page has also been repeatedly blanked. The obstinacy of the vandalism, plus the fact that the same users blank the talk page, leads me to believe that this certainly isn't a content dispute. // Molimo 02:17, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

- Lima (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) -- vandalized the Metousiosis article again (as reported above), not only removing references and links, and rewriting reference purposes in a malicious fashion, but also clearly stating his intent to insert his own POV and vandalize (by inserting irrelevancies and inaccuracies) in his editing notes, in which he wrote: "The two really unnecessary new paragraphs may be removed when NrgDocAdams ceases to reject the actual teaching of the Orthodox Church in favour of his own ideas."Nrgdocadams 09:28, 11 February 2006 (UTC)Nrgdocadams

- Vasile (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) Keeps deleting material from the article Imre Kertész with no defence or apologia on the Talk page even though he has been called to explain his actions. CRCulver 02:57, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- It is not my pleasure to read the wiki-rules, but I think that Misplaced Pages:Resolving disputes should be the way used by CRCulver instead of the futile accusation that I've vandalized my addition without properly answers on talk page. This response is not that I care of various anonymous opinions expressed about my person, but I find no wiki-action recommended to the accused vandal. --Vasile 03:57, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
