Sarah Palin's Alaska is an American television show about the state of Alaska, hosted by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and produced by Mark Burnett Productions for Discovery Communications for air on TLC. The series will be eight episodes long, and is being billed as a part travelogue, part documentary series. The theme song for SPA will be 'Follow Me There' by Grammy award-winning Christian rock band Third Day.

In announcing the show, Palin said that the show will bring "the wonder and majesty of Alaska to all Americans."

Sarah Palin joins a long list of actor-politicians including former President Ronald Reagan and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. While Sarah Palin has already had a successful political career, many actors have used their Hollywood status to their advantage in the political community. Fred Grandy, who played "Gopher" in the "Love Boat" sitcom, highlighted the advantages of his entry into politics through his acting career when he told People Magazine in 1985, “If there were no Gopher, there would be no Fred Grandy for Congress.”
