"I'm Not Strong Enough to Say No" is a single recorded by country music band Blackhawk. It is the lead-off single released from their album Strong Enough. It peaked at #2 in the United States, while it was their first number-one hit in Canada. The song was written by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, who was married to Shania Twain at the time.
Content
The song's narrator can't resist his lover. He's weaker as she is closer to him, and so he asks her to go, because he's not strong enough to say no. The song's chorus goes like this:
