I wonder if you're watching the massive BLP dispute unfolding? It's fairly epic, although I prefer the comedic action contained the movie version of the show referenced above. I also like the Royal Tenenbaums movie when the patriarch is exposed as faking his illness responds to someone noting that he was never dying by saying, "But I'm going to live".
