Perhaps you would find people more willing to help you if they were actually aware that you were asking for help. When you deleted the request for clarification of policy, how was anyone supposed to help you? It sends a very mixed signal to posta request for help and then attempt to delete it with any reference to your recent troubles.
If I might suggest such, your inflexible behavior within Misplaced Pages isn't going to serve you well. Your interpretation of image use clearly doesn't seem to have a lot of support within the community at this time. I am not saying that it never will, but in accordance with our consensus policy on obtaining such, you've already made the bold edits, they have been largely reverted. Now you need to discuss the matters in more depth. If you think the policy is ineffective as it currently is, then argue for change, either in WP:FU or WP:PUMP. Continually nominating images you feel don't fit your non-consensus view is only going to serve to accumulate more blocks. Your call. - Arcayne () 15:04, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- I would advise you to read WP:CONSENSUS, the consensus is bound up in policy, not in the mob rule of the wikiproject, of the images I send to ifd, in the region of 90% are removed, so I would hardly think my actions are likely tp aquire blocks, and considering that the block I was given had the justification embelished with lies, I am unwilling to take it too seriously. If you want to contribute to wikipedia, then great, but I would encourage you to work towards the aims of the project Fasach Nua (talk) 15:15, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Out of curiosity, can you actually explicitly point out these 'lies'? I took time to carefully and clearly lay out my evidence - it amuses me that you feel that this can all be brushed aside as being a bunch of 'lies'. TalkIslander 15:18, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
