Major General Michael Jeffery (born 1937) is the immediate past state governor of Western Australia, Australia. On 22 June 2003, Prime Minister John Howard named General Jeffery as Australian Governor-General Designate. He was sworn in as Governor-General on August 11.

General Jeffery, a decorated Vietnam veteran, served extensively in the Australian military before his term as Western Australian governor.
