Ahmed Alshaiba (Arabic: أحمد الشيبة) was a Yemeni musician and composer known for blending traditional Middle Eastern music with modern Western genres. He gained popularity through his unique approach to playing the oud, a traditional Arabic string instrument, which he incorporated into a variety of contemporary music styles, including rock, pop, and classical. Alshaiba's music attracted a global audience through his performances and online presence, where he shared his compositions and covers of popular songs.

Alshaiba died on Sept. 28, 2022, in a car accident. He was 32.
