User:RM82087, who claims to be an assistant to Ohio Senator Joe Schiavoni, and possibly others have been creating copyright violations for years. RM82087 is using ips and socks, as well as manipulating other users to make others do edits for him. All other methods have failed and RM82087 has become stealthy.Sock report, Ban discussion, Copyright violation page.
OSUHEY was the first account we blocked for socking (in February 2009), however the oldest confirmed sock is Ramstutz who began editing in May 2006.
RM82087 has contacted Jimmy Wales, and others using several bogus pseudonyms. Example.
It has come to my attention that you have been contributing greatly on Misplaced Pages, specifically pertaining to Ohio politicians. As an emeritus member of the Ohio Senate, I am deeply concerned that your actions are severely hurting the constituencies throughout Ohio. While I understand the essence of Misplaced Pages and the urgency to protect it, YOU must understand the importance of maintaining up-to-date and specific information in regards to our Ohio legislators.
As one of many contributors to the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, a non-partisan, state run agency, we have taken it into our considerations to uphold the integrity of current and emeritus politican's pages in a way in which will reflect the most up-to-date information. RM82087 has been cautioned by Ebe123 and Jimmy but has created several socks since. Best course of action of action is to block rangeblock all Ohio legislative buildings where he may be editing.
