User Page Design Center
Thanks for the heads up on the user page design help issue. After reading the discussions, I've taken the liberty of solving the overlapping scope problem...
Since the WP:UPDC had a greater scope and a more prominent main menu, I've fully merged and integrated the content of the User Page Help WikiProject into that department.
It turned out better than I thought it would.
Enjoy.

OWN
I have not said I own Radio Misplaced Pages, but I do. You cannot contribute to a sound file. If a user wants to help with the broadcast the can. Two users are discussing this with me, and in Issue 4 another user has been put in. StewieGriffin! • Talk 17:54, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- How was that question rude?!? Anyway, soon Radio Misplaced Pages will be moved to it's own website. StewieGriffin! • Talk 17:58, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Now i'm giving you a friendly piece of advice: Do your homework!!. If you actually looked, my files are in the public domain. And, frankly, it has nothing to do with you about my plans and if I am discussing it. StewieGriffin! • Talk 18:02, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Can you help me out on licensing please!? Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 18:23, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Interwiki map at meta
Earlier this year you asked if I could update the interwiki map at meta. Sorry, I can't do that. I'm not active as one of the tech team at the moment. Jamesday (talk) 00:50, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Portal:Sims
A tag has been placed on Portal:Sims requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section P2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a portal based on a topic for which there is no non-stub header article, and there are not at least three non-stub articles detailing subject matter that would be appropriate to discuss under the title of that portal.If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on ] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Electrical 20:42, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Misplaced Pages better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 14:28, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
MfD nomination of Portal:Sims
Portal:Sims, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Sims and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Portal:Sims during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign 15:41, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Sims articles
For all the issues that have arisen with the Wikiprojects and Portals for the Sims, do you realize that you've only ever edited one article about the topic, once? The purpose of Wikiprojects are to help develop the articles of the topic, not to worry about lists of who is part of the project, who created what first, or any of the other bureaucratic nonsense that keeps arising out of it. Please try to contribute to the articles rather than worrying about who does what for the Wikiproject, Metros (talk) 14:40, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes why did you join a project you have no intrist in and take it over. Electrical 22:01, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
WP:Sims
I have put up a vote for WP:Sims. for the format of the WP:sims. Electrical 16:15, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello
Hello Bluegoblin7, I don't want to seem unfriendly, however I feel you are owning an article, Portal:Sims to be exact. Please check the related policy. Thank You. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign 17:04, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Merger?
Hi,
Thanks for your interest in my Training Wiki, once agian i see you have the same problems many other "test wiki's" do when they try to imitate wikipedia. That is (just a few examples and im not attacking you or the test wiki) you have the wrong version of wikimedia for starters, your delete reasons, block reasons etc do not reflect wikipedia's, You missing buttons on the edit bar, your missing extentions and key templates. And when you have copied contents from wikipedia you have not attributed it back to Misplaced Pages with at least a link to the original in accordance with GFDL (eg your mainpage is clearly from wikipedia, that must be attributed). Also my logo is better looking :-)
As you can see its a big headache by no small measure
This is where my Training Wiki has a distict advantage. It will have (currently buidling) all of the above and even uses the same verion as Misplaced Pages. I'm asking for help because theres work to be done and i need some helpers for permissions.
I also consider my self extremly porficient in running media wiki :-)
I wish to propose a merger. Are you interested «l| Ψrom3th3ăn ™|l» (talk) 00:35, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

RFA/MFD
Re . Don't bother. We don't delete past RFAs, they are kept for archival purposes. –xenocidic (talk) 13:32, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Point? Reason? The WMF always complain about how strained their servers are... so why waste those limited resources on tat like this? The point? And actually, I would then get the MfD speedyd. We will have used more server space having this pointless discussion. BG7even 13:39, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Since the deleted RFA will still be kept on the server should admins wish to review the deleted history, it won't save any server space. Feel free to try and have it speedied, I don't know of any criteria that would apply. Past RFAs and MFDs are kept for archival purposes, and to refer to should you ever stand for adminship again. –xenocidic (talk) 13:43, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Either way, it's still pointless in having it. And if I do run for RfA again (which I intend to do, despite finding out about things that I have mentioned here) then it will save server space as it will avoid another page. BG7even 13:46, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- /sigh. now you're going to have an RFA and an MFD that you're ashamed of. If and when you do run for RFA, your past RFA will be referenced. Standard procedure. –xenocidic (talk) 13:50, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- For ****'s sake! The bloody WMF put things all over the place asking for money, and then their users insist on keeping pointless pages that could be delete/oversighted/eradicated from the server. God. If I was Jimbo i'd be ashamed of this place. (Actually, I don't want to be Jimbo. He's treated so many people badly. And WTH does he have the "Founder" title. He couldn't of made this place on his own.). Hey, my new motto of the day comes to play here: The Wikimedia Foundation sucks. BG7even 14:04, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- The MFD is closed - please do not revert to re-open it. There is no compelling reason to delete/oversight(only used in extreme cases)/eradicate the RFA from the server. There ARE compelling reasons to keep it. –xenocidic (talk) 14:15, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- after e/c on my own bloody talk page! What? I see none. If we're gonna keep it, can you please ask Jimbo Wales and the rest of the effin WMF to get rid of all references to donation, limited resources etc - it's people like you who want to keep this crap on there that make them need to do it. If you donate a server, i'd say fine. But i'm sure you don't. So just go away and deal with more important issues such as some vandalism or something. BG7even 14:21, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

- I strongly suggest you calm down, log off, and have a nice cup of tea. –xenocidic (talk) 14:19, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Why don't you read my comment above. It's you that needs to go away. BG7even 14:21, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Bluegoblin: You have to understand that this is not a reason to delete a past RfA. We keep these around for many reasons, and archive them. I also think you should remain calm, log off, and come back to this with a clear head. — Maggot 14:26, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm perfectly able to stay calm now and have a clear head, which I do. I'm getting increasingly fed up of the Wikimedia Foundation, and indeed I am very close to leaving indefinitely. I want my RfA deleted, therefore it should be. End of. BG7even 14:28, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- You do not own your RFA. Again, I suggest you drop this, and log off, or at the very least, go do something else. This is the last I will say on the matter here. –xenocidic (talk) 14:31, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have to agree with Xenocidic. Please drop this; it is helping nobody. RfAs are not deleted, ever, except when they are so wrongly placed that it falls under G6. Yours was not, and therefore it can't be. It serves as a record, so if you run again at some point, the first RfA is there to demonstrate the reasons for the first closing. That is why they are retained. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 14:36, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well if that is the case I suggest you remove "Donate to Misplaced Pages" from the Sidebar, and all references to Misplaced Pages. It's supposed to be a bloody encyclopedia, not an archive of some useless pages. If the users keep them, the users that keep them should by a server for them. Otherwise you can tell the WMF to stick their money up their arse. If their wasting their limited server space on pointless things like this, then they should not be asking for donations. I will be following this up further, legally if I have to. BG7even 15:22, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- WP:THREAT, and consider this your final warning. Gwynand | Talk•Contribs 15:34, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
