Image copyright problem with Image:Voteformeiwilleditu.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Voteformeiwilleditu.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:24, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:13, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Please refrain from removing any content regarding active proposals from the Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Council/Proposals page. That page is created to discuss existing proposals. Any comments which do not violate other wikipedia policies are probably considered at least potentially relevant. Removal of any such comments, particularly from an involved party, could be seen as constituting vandalism. John Carter (talk) 16:29, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- please look at what i removed. Iwilleditu 23:28, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Project proposals
Do you think you could please cool it with the project proposals? You've posted 5 in a week. If you want to help Misplaced Pages, the way to do that is by editing articles, not proposing projects. If you then come across an area that needs attention, think about proposing a project -- but making such proposals shouldn't be your focus. Thanks. Equazcion •✗/C • 22:42, 30 Mar 2008 (UTC)
- Of course, Equazcion's comments represent only his own opinion and are not binding in any way. You can propose as many projects as you want and be well within policy, as long it's part of a good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia. But you probably already know that. 129.174.90.124 (talk) 18:26, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- I agree that the originator of this thread is possibly acting out of line by his comments, probably not for the first time. For what it's worth, though, I'd hold off on alphabetizing for a while yet, as per my most recent comments on the talk page in question. Alphabetization is one of the few ways to make the proposals easier to find, and links to the page can find the appropriate heading in any event. Not that it's necessarily a bad idea, but it might be a bit early. John Carter (talk) 21:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Glossary of environmental science terms
A tag has been placed on Glossary of environmental science terms requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Redfarmer (talk) 23:54, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, if it came from a .gov website, it was probably not a copyvio. But: it was about ten times bigger than a standard Misplaced Pages article, and an hopeless content fork. We do not have "glossary" articles here - see Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Youth Offending Team/Glossary for example. We have a separate article for each term - that is how an encyclopedia works! -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 00:12, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Sims
Very good idea for a new wiki project, we have needed one for a long time to organise all of the Sims' articles. If you don't mind, I have updated Template:WPSims to Template:WPBannerMeta format, and I would be happy to get involved with the rest of the project. Martin23230 (talk) 08:39, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- Kudos to you as well from me, I've been looking forward to someone creating a Wikiproject for the Sims. I'm proud to be the second member in the project and am looking forward to contributing more. Jammy (talk) 12:56, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

An annoying question- to be ignored if wished
Just wondering, as I'm studying philosophy (as an amateur), what is your explanation of the origin of ethics,as an atheist? Not trying to be annoying or accussatory, etc., I am just curious. I never really get a chance to ask that question of anybody who might actually answer (without biting my head off, that is:)). ---G.T.N. (talk) 00:54, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed sourced content from Misplaced Pages. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Handwritten text below, default warning message above.
Hi, i noticed that on April 12th, UTC, you removed a vast amount of proposals (about two thirds) from the page listed above. Though this is probably not a mistake, some people may take it offesively that content was removed, and that you changed the order of submission (to chronological), without previous talk page discussion. Please do not do so to such an important page without the consent of the community on the talk page. have tried to revert your edit, but cannot, and am seeking rallying action against it. I am sure that you meant no harm, though. If you think that I am unjust in saying this, please, don't hesitate to go so my talk page. PwnerELITE (talk) 04:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hi yes i cant help to see that you said "without previous talk page discussion". Wel i refer you to Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Council/Proposals#New_proposed_changes and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Council/Proposals#Ordering

Adoption
Are you still seeking adoption? 'Cos you started a WikiProject so it seems you know what you're doing. If you don't want to be adopted, please remove the relevant userbox from your page because it contributes to the backlog at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user. Category:User Save the humans pages
I have speedily deleted Category:User Save the humans pages under the general housekeeping criterion. To avoid category clutter and redundancy, categories for the user subpages of specific users are generally discouraged. You may keep track of the pages in your userspace using the Special:Prefixindex function. (For instance, you can obtain a list of all of the pages in the now-deleted category by typing Special:Prefixindex/User:Save the humans
in the "search" box. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can offer any clarification. Cheers, Black Falcon 04:19, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

I suggest you cease your futile attempt to communicate maturely with that user. I am speaking from experience and even if they do respond it never goes well and the other user(in this case, you) normally ends up irritated. Hi Save the humans!

Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Misplaced Pages.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

I was wondering if you had any further use for this image. I noticed it on your RfA, and wondered whether it could be deleted. Uploading images for a single purpose is generally not a good idea, and this could have been taken as canvassing. Thanks. RichardΩ612 Ɣ |ɸ 21:53, May 11, 2008 (UTC)
