He has published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Review of Books and other publications. He is best known as a global warming denier and most recently for his Misplaced Pages criticism. He was an adviser to President Jimmy Carter's Task Force on the Global Environment, and is a founder and managing director of the Energy Probe Research Foundation.
