Song |
"I Want You" was the first single from Jody Watley's third album, Affairs of the Heart. "I Want You" was considered a disappointment after her second album scored three consecutive top ten pop singles, "I Want You" failed to reach the top 50 of the pop chart, it did find success as a Top five R&B single, and top twenty dance single. However, this song was sexually explicit due to the suggestive sexually lyrics like"Oh baby let me whisper in your ear" and with the loud moan at the end of the song.
