I am a Dutchman but since a couple of years living in County Clare, Ireland. I'm interested in local history, mainly from county Clare (Ireland) and Groningen (The Netherlands), and genealogy.
I have sometimes the nasty habit of being a stormy type of guy, so the name is a bit descriptive. See: Night of the Big Wind for the storm disaster in Ireland.
Do you do enough?
You can check your edit with this tool. But watch out. Editcountitis is a severe disease!
Writing articles is fun, but...
...sometimes a bit dull and boring. Pictures can solve a lot of that. You can find load of pictures in The Commons Picture Archives!
Do you want to move a picture from another project to Commons?
First check if the licenses are okay for Commons. Of so, follow the next few steps:
Click on the picture on the maximum size. Save the picture on your own computer. (It's handy to copy the name of the picture here)
Click here to open the Commonshelper. Fil out the language code in the first box and paste/write the name of the picture in the second box. The click on the "Get text" button at the bottom.
Click here to open the upload page. Paste/Write the name of the picture in the first box. The copy the text from step two and paste in in the "description"-box. Then click the "Upload file" button at the bottom.
... how do I find coordinates for an article. Coordinates tool is very handy for this.
... sometimes you want to know what articles you have created. Just check that here.

The Disambiguator's Barnstar is awarded to Wikipedians who are prolific disambiguators. For clearing out the templates with disambig links, a feat the rest of us assumed would never get done. JaGa 15:28, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
