Sarah Palin's Alaska is an American television show about the state of Alaska, hosted by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and produced by Mark Burnett Productions for Discovery Communications for air on TLC. The series will be eight episodes long, and is being billed as a part travelogue, part documentary series. The theme song for SPA will be 'Follow Me There' by Grammy award-winning Christian rock band Third Day.

In announcing the show, Palin said that the show will bring "the wonder and majesty of Alaska to all Americans."

After 5 million viewers recorded for the premiere episode, a record for TLC, the show suffed a 40% drop in viewership for the second episode. Only 885,000 of those viewers were in the coveted 18-49 age bracket, dropping 44 percent from last week. The report states that the show's median age is 57 - 15 years older than TLC's average.
