Sarah Palin's Alaska is an American television show about the state of Alaska, hosted by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and produced by Mark Burnett Productions for Discovery Communications for air on TLC. The series will be 8 episodes long, and is being billed as a part travelogue, part documentary series. The theme song for the show will be 'Follow Me There' by Grammy award-winning Christian rock band Third Day.

In the announcement of the show, Palin said that the show will bring "the wonder and majesty of Alaska to all Americans."

Bristol Palin Facebook Comment Controversy

During the premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska", Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin's second child and eldest daughter, posted a number of comments on the Facebook page of a boy named Tre, who went to school with the Willow Palin, Sarah Palin's third child, after he wrote a status update that read, "Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now." Some of Bristol's comments include "You're running your mouth just to talk shit" and "Talking shit cause you have nothing else going for you." Willow Palin also made a number of comments using homophobic slurs such as "Haha you're so gay, I have no idea who you are" and "Tre stfu. Your such a faggot". Bristol later apologized on behalf of herself and her sister.
