It should be Freddie Ljungberg, I don't care if his nickname is Freddie. Example, Jô is Joao Alves de Assis Silva's nickname, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, a lot of pages have nicknames for their titles, so I don't get why you would question me titling Fredrik Ljungbergs page as Freddie Ljungberg, that's what I ment by not caring, you understand? – Michael (talk) 00:24, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

If it's Fredrik Ljungberg and Seattle has his name as Freddie Ljungberg, that makes it all confusing, as I said earlier is that I changed it to Freddie Ljungberg because the Seattle Sounders put his name down as Freddie Ljungberg. Things change dude. – Michael (talk) 17:30, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Observations

I note with interest your comments at 2008-2009 Israel Gaza conlict. You state that you do not "buy" UN anti-Israel bias. The reason why many feel the UN is indeed anti-Israel, is because of the disproportionate number of United Nations resolutions concerning Israel. This is due to the Arab-Muslim block who are naturally biased aginst Israel. Secondly, you mention "if any other country in the world bombed a school filled with refugee families killing the same number civilians, it would cause an outcry." And rightly so. I have not compared reactions, but would suggest that the international resonse to the Israeli school attack would be more widespread than, let's say the Vaharai Bombing attack. La liga squad templates

I was under impression that only first team players were to be listed on squad templates which means basicly there should only be twenty-five players listed plus those who have injury exemptions like van Nistelrooy & Diarra. Rfef states that players with kit numbers between 1-25 are on the first team while those players from the reserves and youth squads have kit numbers from 26 on upwards. Bueno & Palanca plus any other reserve or youth team members who are called to the first team are to be listed in the "from the youth section". Raul17 (talk) 19:46, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

The Italian and English rules are different from the Spanish. But if you think about it, would it make sense to list every reserve player who makes a first team appearance? Raul17 (talk) 02:46, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Re: a or an?

It's "an" because the word that immediately follows the indefinite article begins with a vowel sound. It just sounds wrong to say "a association football league", just like it would be wrong to say "a elephant". That's why. – PeeJay 01:07, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Template:Infobox football match

I can't say I'm a big fan of that solution, as it seems to be presenting the score at the top as some sort of aggregate result, when the two results should be treated equally. I was rather hoping it would be possible to make the "team1" and "team2" fields optional when "Replay" is entered in the "secondleg" field. – PeeJay 15:26, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, good point. Then again, since the font size for the scores is smaller when there is a second leg, it should be possible to see the result of both matches on the screen at once, which should make it clear. – PeeJay 15:30, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Edwin van der Sar/Andres Palop

Re: your edit summary on Edwin van der Sar, why can't we have it thus? It makes no sense having a player's national team listed if he's made no appearances for the team. I think this may be a topic for the WikiProject as a whole to discuss. – PeeJay 22:32, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
