Rollback (add request)

User:Jpoelma13

I've have been doing anti-vandalism edits for a long time. I only recently found about this feature. I feel that it would reduce the amount of time that it takes for me to do what I am already doing. Jpoelma | Talk | cont 17:34, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Not done Evidently, you have to be more careful. — Aitias // discussion 17:48, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Uirauna

I am a long time reader and sometimes writer for wikipedia, recently started contributing more and also watching the recent changes pages, and undoing vandalism, what kinda takes some time if there are four or five edits and you have to undo all of them. Uirauna (talk) 16:59, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:WacoJacko

I feel it would be a more efficient way of fighting vandalism on Misplaced Pages. I already use Twinkle, and I think that rollback would augment this nicely. Additionaly, Twinkle does not work sometimes(like right now). Thanks. WackoJackO 15:47, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, and thanks for the prompt reply/response.WackoJackO 15:54, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:GorillaWarfare

I'm not online terribly often, but when I am I spend most of my time reverting vandalism. I currently us Lupin's Anti-Vandal tool to filter recent changes to watch for vandalism, and I'm just beginning to use Twinkle. I think the rollback option would be very useful. Thanks for your time! GorillaWarfare 14:48, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Done I'm not bothered about the inactivity side. You have enough edits and reasonable vandal-fighting experience. PeterSymonds (talk) 14:51, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Old Moonraker

Usually vandal repair with WP:TWINKLE, but Rollback is faster and has one extra facility. Twinkle isn't always available (and is broken now). Old Moonraker (talk) 09:10, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Yongzhaorong

I am doing a project about e-commerce, and i have found some valued information here, could I have a permission to use those information in my project? Yongzhaorong (talk) 07:31, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Not done You apparently misunderstand the use of rollback. Please see Misplaced Pages:Rollback feature for more information about it. It's only useful for quickly reverting vandalism. In answer to your question, yes, you may use Misplaced Pages content elsewhere, as long as it is applicable and compliant with GFDL. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 14:25, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:FreeRangeFrog

I use Twinkle sometimes for vandalism, but on those rare days that it doesn't work this will be useful. Thank you for considering me! §FreeRangeFrog 06:55, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Done Looks good, but remember rollback is only for clear cases of vandalism. Nja 07:29, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Thank you! §FreeRangeFrog 16:24, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:ktr101

I have over the past year encountered vandalism and other disruptions to the page. Two disruptions were just found within the past hour. After unsuccessfully using Twinkle, due to the whole limitation of it not working on I.E., I would like to use rollback so that I can help to revert vandalism. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 02:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Done Remember to only use rollback for clear cases of vandalism. Tiptoety 02:36, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

User:NathanoNL

I've been patrolling the recent changes for a while now, and would like to try Huggle. I'm not quite sure if my edit count is considered high enough (about 250 at the time of writing), but since they are mostly vandalism removal I thought I'd give it a shot. -- NathanoNL 22:43, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Colds7ream

I've been dealing with vandalism on various space related articles as part of WP:HSF for some time now, both using the old-style method and Twinkle, and I'd like to both speed up any vandalism revertion I perform and also give Huggle a try. Many thanks, Colds7ream (talk) 18:04, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. Good luck with the new tool. :) –Juliancolton 19:49, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Frosted14

I am a long time reader of Wiki and recently interested in fighting vandalism. "Old school" method is cumbersome and I would like to use tools such as Huggle (which requires Rollback) in the fight. Thanks for considering me. Frosted14 (talk) 16:06, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Not done. Sorry, but you only have 50 edits, of which nearly all were made in the past day. Pleas re-apply in a week or so with some more experience. Regards, –Juliancolton 16:11, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Hymek

Hymek is an alternate account identity I use (within the WP rules for such accounts) to keep my work-related editing separate from my 'normal' editing. As EdJogg (talk · contribs) I have had rollbacker rights for many months. It would be useful to have the same rights on both accounts. Hymek (talk) 12:12, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

User:L07ChLeo3

I would like to request rollback permissions due to the fact that I have recently gone on vandalism lookout for many London transport related articles as well as others and it can be very tedious having to undo all of the non-constructive edits that appear. I would also like to use Huggle to prevent vandalists from accessing and maliciously editing my user page as I know people who would want to do just that. Here's my second go at getting Rollback. I've been using Twinkle and Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool, and would like to try out Huggle. Thanks a bunch, SuperHamster | (My Talk) (My Contributions) 17:56, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Done the request, as I did it the same time you posted your message Aitias, which I did not see until after I had granted rollback. Here is the previous request; nothing to worry about. Acalamari 18:04, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

I have been using User:Lupin/Anti-vandal_tool to undo vandalism. I am very interested in doing more work to revert vandalism and would like to try using huggle. Frozenevolution (talk) 20:14, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

I'll correct the spelling later. Rowdy the Ant (talk) 15:51, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Not done Insufficient edit history over the past week to demonstrate knowledge of how to appropriately use the tool. Consider requesting again when you have a solid record of vandalism reversion (you have the undo button available to you still) and have not been inappropriately adding {{block}} tags to users' talk pages. —C.Fred (talk) 15:52, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Check again. And don't call good faith edits Vandelism. Rowdy the Ant (talk) 15:56, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
P.S. If you reject again, leave it on my talk page.
FWIW, I endorse C.Fred's decision. –Juliancolton 16:17, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Mm11

I have been doing lot of vandal related edits and this tool will be useful for me Mm11 (talk) 11:57, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Not done As far as I can see you do have nearly no experience in reverting vandalism. I may recommend using tools like Twinkle or undo in order to gain some experience in this area before reapplying. — Aitias // discussion 12:06, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
