Otogirisō (弟切草, lit. St John's wort) is a sound novel developed and published by Chunsoft. It was released on March 7, 1992 for Super Famicom and for PlayStation on March 25, 1999. It was also released for Wii's Virtual Console on August 28, 2007 and on July 30, 2014 for Wii U, and for PlayStation Network on September 14, 2011.

Story

Kohei and his girlfriend Nami were on the midway when the car got hit by a collapsed tree. They spend the night in a large deserted western-style mansion near the forest.

Ports

The game was ported to PlayStation as "Sound Novel Evolution 1 - Otogirisou Sosei-Hen"(March 25, 1999)

Reception

On release, Famitsu magazine scored the PlayStation version of the game a 30 out of 40.
