Proposed deletion of Titus De Voogdt
The article Titus De Voogdt has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Images instructions
I noticed that you have tried to add images to various articles. Please take a look at the following links & tips to learn how to incorporate images into Misplaced Pages articles.
To use a picture on Misplaced Pages, we need permission from whoever owns it.
- If it is your OWN picture - then you can just upload it yourself, at "Commons", saying "It is entirely my own work" - at http://commons.wikimedia.org/Upload .
- If it is NOT YOURS, then the owner can give permission in two ways;
- A) They could put it on a website (flickr, or their own site) with an appropriate licence, such as "Public Domain" or "Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike" (that is an option in flickr)
- B) They could email us permission. You could ask them to do that, by sending them an email saying something like:
- "Hi, I've written a page on Misplaced Pages, and I'd really like to add a picture - but as Misplaced Pages is FREE, we can only use freely-licenced pictures. If you have any which you can give permission for, please send me an email back with the text below, and the picture(s) attached."
- -Then add a copy of this: http://enwp.org/user:chzz/help/myboilerplate (having filled the form out)
- -And send the email (attached picture file + completed form) to: permissions-commons@wikimedia.org
If any of your questions about how to insert images into an article aren't answered in these instructions, additional information is available at the following Misplaced Pages articles:
Help:Introduction to uploading images/1
Help:Files
Help:Contents/Images and media (for a master-listing of all pertinent image-use links).
Hope this helps, Shearonink (talk) 18:23, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
- PS: I placed this before going into your contributions in more depth. If you don't need these links, please don't be offended. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 18:26, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages and copyright
Hello GaeilgeLeBhurDToil, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. Your addition to Mark Dexter has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Misplaced Pages:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Misplaced Pages:Copyrights. You may also want to review Misplaced Pages:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Misplaced Pages:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Misplaced Pages articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Misplaced Pages project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. VeryCrocker (talk) 18:54, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on How Star Wars Changed the World, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Misplaced Pages:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

County Derry
Please abide by WP:IMOS. Derry for the city, Londonderry for the county. Your edit has been amended back to this agreement. Mabuska 21:09, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
Northern Ireland
Settlements and places on Misplaced Pages are located within their country not the landmass that they are in, hence places in Northern Ireland are in Northern Ireland, not Ireland the island. Mabuska 21:22, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
Irish names
I have already directed you to IMOS once before in regards to the county issue, however I must once again direct you to it though to a different part of it: Misplaced Pages:Manual_of_Style/Ireland-related_articles#Naming_people. It is quite obvious that an Irish form of Willie Frazer is not merited by the criteria listed.
Also: It's a name of gaelic origin in a country where gaelic is the national language.
- obviously this is meant to be a joke? Since when were William, Frederick and Frazer names of Gaelic origin, and when was Gaelic the national language of Northern Ireland? Mabuska 21:31, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
- We have already discussed this at my talk page and continuing to push it regardless of the agreed conventions on naming set out at IMOS, your edit can be interpreted as vandalism. Frazer doesn't use an Irish form of his name so we don't invent and add one for him. Mabuska 15:35, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
