As for COMELEC, it's the same thing. I suggest to use "commission" instead. Unlike "COC" I won't be actively changing "COMELEC" to "commission" as it's not that "mission critical". –''']]]''' 17:50, 14 October 2015 (UTC) As for COMELEC, it's the same thing. Please don't use the terms "COC" and "COMELEC"

"COC" is ambiguous; most usages of it don't spell out what it means, which should be "certificate of candidacy". Please use "candidacy" instead, e.g. "He filed his candidacy", instead of "He filed his COC". "COC" would also mean "certificate of canvass" and would cause confusion later on.

And I don't think these people play COC either.

As for COMELEC, it's the same thing. I suggest to use "commission" instead. Unlike "COC" I won't be actively changing "COMELEC" to "commission" as it's not that "mission critical". –HTD 17:50, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
