Speedy deletion nomination of Dīwān ul-Lughat al-Turk Dizini

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dīwān ul-Lughat al-Turk Dizini requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Cloudz679 10:17, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

If you would like to create an article about this book, you must provide sources that prove it is notable. Also, you must write the article about the book, not just copy and paste the book's contents. For what may be the English equivalent, see the article A Dictionary of the English Language as a guideline on how to write an article on this subject. If you want any more help, please ask on my talk page. Cheers, Number 57 13:38, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Could all Azeri users check User:Yerevanci's and User:Nocturnal781's relentless POV additions, lately in the Ermenikend article.

Could all Azeri users check User:Yerevanci's and User:Nocturnal781's relentless POV additions, lately in the Ermenikend article.

These users constantly change the correct article name of Ermenikend into the incorrect name of "Armenikend". Could all Azeri users prevent the taking over of articles about Azerbaijan by Armenian users with their biased nationalistic POV agenda. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Halil İnalcık.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Halil İnalcık.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. When you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:41, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Warning

Please stop your distruptive editing such as here, here and on my talk page.

Accusing me in being biased due to my Armenian ethnicity for nominating deletion of a copyrighted image will get you reported at WP:ANI at least. Thank you! Երևանցի 04:48, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tonyukuk Monument in Old Turkic Alphabet.jpg

As I've said at your actual statements in defence of the image make little sense. How can the image be 'genuinely mine' (yours) yet have an original source that's a webpage? The original source will be your camera or since this image is edited, a combination of that and your computer. Perhaps there is a language problem or you don't understand how copyright works, I may have some sympathy for that although we take copyright very seriously. Except that you're not exactly a new editor; people have offered some explainations you've made little attempts to actually try to understand or seek help to understand the problem with your edits instead just kept trying to reupload; and you're continually making bigoted personal attacks and other bigoted comments and have failed to WP:AGF in a silly way such as singling out an editor who isn't an admin and so didn't delete your images (as has always already been explained to you), when multiple editors have noted the problem with the images. Notice of editing restrictions

Notice: Under the terms of Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan 2, any editor who edits articles which relate to the region of Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Iran and the ethnic and historical issues related to that area in an aggressive point of view manner marked by incivility may be placed under several editing restrictions, by notice on that editor's talk page. This notice is to inform you that based on your edits, you are hereby placed under the following restrictions:

  1. Revert limitation (formerly known as revert parole). You are limited to one revert per page per week, excepting obvious vandalism, and are required to discuss any content reversions on the page's talk page.
  2. Supervised editing (formerly known as probation). You may be banned by any administrator from editing any or all articles which relate to the region of Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Iran and the ethnic and historical issues related to that area should you fail to maintain a reasonable degree of civility in your interactions with one another concerning disputes which may arise.
  3. Civility supervision (formerly known as civility parole). If you make any edits which are judged by an administrator to be uncivil, personal attacks, or assumptions of bad faith, then you may be blocked for a short time of up to one week for repeat transgressions.

Enforcement: Violations of limitations, supervision, or bans imposed by the remedies in this case may be enforced by brief blocks of up to a week in the event of repeat violations. After 5 blocks the maximum block period shall increase to one year.

Note: This notice is not effective unless given by an administrator and logged here.

To be clear, this notice is being given to you due to your focus on the perceived ethnicity of other editors, and accusations of bias thrown at them. This is not acceptable behavior. Comment on edits, not the editor, please. If you continue to accuse other editors of bias due to what you believe their ethnicity to be, sanctions will result, up to and including a topic ban from making any edits relating to Armenia/Azerbaijan at all. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for personal attacks and expressions of prejudice incompatible with collaborating on a neutral reference work, see above and ANI discussion. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   Sandstein  14:22, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:

My file was removed repeatedly (I thought that it was deleted by user Yerevanci, now I know other admins deleted my file) without evidence that it violates any copyright policy, even thou I have provided multiple versions of same file. I don't believe should be be blocked as I have no history attacking others. turkiclang (talk) 14:46, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Per below. — Daniel Case (talk) 16:10, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Ismet11, the reason I sent you the above warning is because you are attacking others. That's also the reason Sandstein blocked you. You've repeatedly accused other editors of bias due to what you believe their ethnicity to be. That is not in any way acceptable. You were not blocked for the image upload. Is that reason clear to you now? If you were to be unblocked, you would have to stop attacking other editors for any reason, including what you think their ethnicity or national origin is.
