Excuse me, but here is the definition of No Original Research on Misplaced Pages:

"Articles may not contain any unpublished theories, data, statements, concepts, arguments, or ideas; or any new analysis or synthesis of published data, statements, concepts, arguments, or ideas that serves to advance a position."

One of the authors or sources in dispute here is Jim Hoffman. His research has been published in book form.

So if we say, "Jim Hoffman says such and such in his work, 'Waking up from our Nightmare' (available in bookstores or on Amazon)," then that is a citation from a secondary source, and neither original research nor weasel words.
