Emil Cruz Jr.'s Mara Clara is an upcoming Philippine family primetime drama to air on ABS-CBN. The remake is based on the 1992 original television series of the same name. Kathryn Bernardo is set to take the role of the new Mara del Valle, while Julia Montes will be the new Clara David.

Launch
During the ABS-CBN trade event held last August 24, 2010 at the World Trade Center Manila, it was announced that a remake of the series will air the last quarter of 2010. It is part of the half-term show line-up by ABS-CBN launching as part of the 60th Anniversary of Philippine Soap Opera. Kathryn Bernardo is slated for the role of Mara, with Julia Montes as Clara.
