August curse

Can you please explain how the article violates CSD A1? Offliner (talk) 23:09, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

AIV

Please don't add the {{backlog}} message to WP:AIV. We have bots that do that and they do a pretty good job of it. If you add it manually, it doesn't get removed until someone manually removes it. Thanks. -- Mufka 11:12, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Typeface logos are public domain

Logos that are in typeface are public domain, so if you see any typeface logos you should add Template:PD-textlogo and Template:Trademark to them. Powergate92Talk 01:31, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Logos needing "sourced commentary"

Hey Neutralhomer, I'm having quite a bit of difficulty dealing with users who claim that historical logos need "sourced commentary". I think you would understand that finding sources for these historical logos are going to be pretty damn difficult and adding commentary to most logos is even harder. Do they want me to describe this? (using the previous image as an example) I'm going to need a bit of help. Thanks.  єmarsee Speak up! 20:22, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

I think I'll ask Bearcat later what that means. On another note, J Milburn has been removing logos from the CHCH-TV page and ESkog has been removing public domain as well as non-free logos as well, thinking these logos are purely decorative.  єmarsee Speak up! 23:17, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Black Kite has removed a public domain image from the CHCH article. I've asked him kindly to undo his edit and readd it. єmarsee Speak up! 23:51, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

WAHU-LD citation

How does one cite TitanTV listings showing that This TV is coming to WAHU-LD? I don't know of a way to cite those. TripEricson (talk) 23:31, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Well, I was trying to cite the specific time and since the address doesn't seem to update when you go to that specific time... what if I cited RabbitEars? I see other people citing RabbitEars on here without issue. TripEricson (talk) 13:33, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip on that. The page complained that I didn't have a tag, so that's what I put in. Good to know. =) TripEricson (talk) 20:56, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Inappropiate comment at AN/I

Saying "I can safely say you are nothing but a big trouble maker" qualifies as a personal attack. Be neutral during AN/I discussions and please do not attack other editors.--Sky Attacker 06:06, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

WGGH/KKCK

You don't know anything about the pages you edit so why do you persist in inverting mine? If you aren't a WGGH or KKCK listener or in the industry, then why are you changing information regarding their formats and programs? Stop it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.101.226.27 (talk) 21:09, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

I hate to inform you of this but my assertions of KKCK are exact and accurate. Get off my back about it and call the station if you have a problem with their music mix or programming. Truth is truth. You have no historic interest in Minnesota radio whatsoever so your awareness and information on it is obviously wrong. This isn't a subject of interest to you except as you can rub your edits in my face. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.101.226.27 (talk) 21:48, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

You are engaging in an edit war by continually undoing accurate information on KKCK. The format of the station contains a modern rock lean to the music mix. I said so in the article. Stop undoing accurate information in the KKCK article and continuing to fuel a war. There wouldn't be a war especially if you'd quit fighting it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.101.226.27 (talk) 21:56, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

WP:AIV

I think the problem there was most admins looking at that edit-history would just have thought "content dispute rather than obvious vandalism". Once the IP went through 3RR that wasn't a problem, though I note that you did as well - it's probably best not to do that if the edits you're everting aren't obviously vandalism (I removed a 3RR warning that another editor dropped here btw). dude, if you can put pictures of cats on your userpage, i think i can put a game on mine. the userpage is for you to do whatever you want with it, it's not part of the encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by I am a jedi (talkcontribs) 06:41, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

I hope you get the meaning of this, but, to the point. Scrap all the separate xfds, and list all the pages under one xfd. It is much easier, and it lets things be not as fragmented.— dαlus 07:35, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Check ANI. Basically, delete all the other xfds and I'll fix the first one to display the others, then I'll go through and fix links.— dαlus 07:40, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

He added this source, which doesn't look reuptable at all and even so, verifies only one or two of the names in the huge list. I told him that lists are generally discouraged anyway even if they are sourced, but he clearly needs more poking. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • 22:38, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
