Florida Gators track & field is an athletic team representing the Gators of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Historically, the women's team has only been competing since 1973. Both the male & female teams are combined and are now considered as one by the University of Florida Athletic Association. The Florida Gators compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) Division 1 and are members of the Southeastern Conference. The track & field program officially started in 1923.
Coaching Staff
The Gators current head men's & women's coach is Mike Holloway. The assistant coach for throwing is Steve Lemke. The assistant coach for distance running is Todd Morgan. The assistant coach for sprints & hurdles is Brian O'Neal.
