Hi! I'm Andrew, and I like photography and computers. I am also interested in music. I play the violin and piano.

your RfA

Hi Andrew, I noticed your posting at Misplaced Pages:Requests for adminship/andrewrp. I don't want to discourage you from editing at Misplaced Pages, I'm sure you're off to a fine start. I did want to mention though, that normally one does not request adminship until they've had some more experience. You may want to read through Misplaced Pages:Administrators and Misplaced Pages:Guide to requests for adminship before you continue. Once you've read through some of that material, you may want to consider asking a current administrator to delete your RfA until you've had a little more experience. No matter which direction you decide to go here, I wish you luck. — Ched :  ?  00:47, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I have closed your RfA as unsuccessful per WP:SNOW and WP:NOTNOW. Please continue to contribute constructively to Misplaced Pages. After gaining more experience, you may make a fine admin in about a year or so. --Dylan620 Efforts · Toolbox 17:21, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism patrol

Just a quick note, please only warn users for things that you have reverted or dealt with, if I revert a users vandalism and then warn them, you warning them a second time is unneeded. Please do not do so in future. Otherwise good work, all the best Spitfire 00:12, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

For an example you warned 203.26.13.2 for an edit they had not made, they had not edited since there last warning. Thanks Spitfire 00:19, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

No problem, all the best Spitfire 00:22, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

AFD reason?

Hi Andrewrp, you posted this AFD: Misplaced Pages:Articles_for_deletion/McBride_Secondary_School but failed to give reasons for why it should be deleted. Can you please add that? tedder (talk) 01:58, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

TFA protestion

Vandalism

Hi - IP addresses cannot be blocked indefinitely because they change hands and are never permanently assigned to one computer. Also can you report someone only if they vandalize again after you warn them not before? Thanks. -- Mentifisto 23:57, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Care needed when reverting

Please take care when reverting using Twinkle. With this edit, you reverted a good edit and re-posted the vandalised and offensive content. Thanks, Mattinbgn\ 00:52, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Raggio Vandalism

When you reverted my vandalism {{helpme}} on Raggio's talk page, you should have warned me for it. 99.240.227.163 (talk) 20:20, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much. 99.240.227.163 (talk) 20:42, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Why is a VANDAL saying thanks for a warning? Are you going to change?

Rollback

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Misplaced Pages:New admin school/Rollback and Misplaced Pages:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton |  23:39, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

My account was disabled on Arbaic Misplaced Pages

Today I added an Arabic version of this same article but, administrator on the Arabic Misplaced Pages decided to remove it and disable my account. I found it upsetting they did that, and decide to add the note to the English article. I now realize it was probably not wise of me. However, I do not see the logic of the same article being removed on the Arabic wikipedia by Administrators and be a reason for disabling my account while the same article exist ont the English version.

I'm an Arab that ran away from dictatorship, and lack of freedom and here it is being perpetuated by Misplaced Pages Arabic and Misplaced Pages Arabic only.

Help please - my account was TruthChaser and was removed/disabled today by the admin Riadismet on Arabic wikipedia.

Thanks

License tagging for File:Wikipe-tan mopping.svg

Thanks for uploading File:Wikipe-tan mopping.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Misplaced Pages uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:06, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Kindred

Hi, you recently warned me for a vandalism that wasn't. I know i had vandalised on that day, and I stopped. But I went looking for information on the little village that I live in and couldn't find any, so I added some. The information is corect, and I thought contributing to the website was usefull. Anyway thanks for stopping me becoming a menace on here by removing some of my previous posts. Seeya Duped0892 (talk) 14:14, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Your last AIV report on Barrie North Collegiate Institute

Hi - just for your FYI - after the IP editor was kind enough to cite a source in his last edit summary, I went ahead and turned into a proper reference. Turned out he had reason to believe what he wrote, but hadn't learned how to cite references. The incident has now been removed from the AIV noticeboard.
