Welcome to Misplaced Pages!
Dear Ellomate: welcome to Misplaced Pages, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:
- Misplaced Pages:Introduction
- Five Pillars of Misplaced Pages
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Community Portal
Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.
One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Misplaced Pages, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! - Patricknoddy 18:29, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Block Template
You know, I am not quite sure right now. Clearly you are not blocked, nor should you be. I will get back to you. i suspect that I have hit the wrong key. No-one is perfect.--Anthony.bradbury 23:31, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, thank you. Ellomate 23:32, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Your template adds an section on the talk page you place it on. When someone clicks that (rather than the top of the page and scrolling all the way down) to add another warning, it goes to your template and leave the editor's talk page. I made the same mistake myself and had to revert it. IrishGuy 23:36, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Thank you, I'll fix that. Ellomate 23:37, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- That may be the problem. But your block log shows nothing, so your record is clean.--Anthony.bradbury 23:39, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. I'm fixing the error by just adding == Vandalism == then the {{Ellomate no Vandal}}. Ellomate 23:40, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Hitler.
I have reverted this edit you made to the article on Adolf Hitler. It removed almost all the refs in the article, included many nonexistant images and had a giant trivia section. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 00:35, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi
It said you left a message for me and when I clicked the link it talked about vandalism, but I didn't do anything. The only thing I remember doing is asking a question about the keyboard layout.--User12 19:34, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Grand Theft Auto IV
Hi, I reverted your edit on Grand Theft Auto IV because the change was unsourced and could potentially fail WP:BLP. You unrevereted, but it was re-reverted again. What you say may very well be true, but you need to provide the article which you are sourcing that information from. John Hayes 09:45, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Crank That (Soulja Boy)
The name of the song is Crank That (Soulja Boy) see Souljaboytellem.com or the real cd case tracklisting. I have the real cd and the name is Crank That (Soulja Boy). Also, the next time you move a page you should proposed the move first. See WP:MM. †Poison the Well† (talk) 00:08, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not violate M:DICK, please. Souljaboytellem.com refers nothing about Crank That (Soulja Boy), if you disagree please see MTV's side of the story. If you continue to revert the page you will begin to violate the Tree Revert Rule. Thank you, and have a nice day. Ellomate (talk) 00:11, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Re: Take this into case...
I think it would be up to the copyright owner to take legal action against the uploader. Misplaced Pages would probably simply block the account(s) to prevent further infractions. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 14:51, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Your AfD
Your AfD is malformed. Also, we have an article on Murder, so your argument for deletion is invalid, sorry. AnteaterZot (talk) 06:30, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:GoogleMaps Van.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:GoogleMaps Van.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 22:43, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Game engine
Hello, I've replied to your post on my talk page and I've also started a discussion about game engines at WP:VG. There is no clear guidance as to what counts as a game engine and if it should be listed in the Infobox field, so hopefully the discussion will reach a consensus on what should or shouldn't be included in the Engine field. Myself, I can see good and bad in both sides of the debate and will be non-plused whichever way the debate goes, but a clear consensus would at least give us a consensus to point to is the question should arise again. - X201 (talk) 07:59, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
