Dear Epbr123 | |||
I received the message you sent to me. Christ I have never read such filth in my life. Why do you want to know if my wife wears a garter belt and stockings for me ? and why do you want to know if I have any younger horny sisters ? that is sickening.
Hi, Epbr123; I recall you left comments for me when I requested peer review for ]. Well, now I am going big time and am formulating a featured article drive for ]. In order for me to gather information to facilitate this to all editors who wish to come, I need peer review requests on 18 American cities. Are you up for it?
I intend to report your filth, so is this what Misplaced Pages is all about ? are they aware of perverts like you ?
*The first one is ], whose peer review page can be found ].
Please get back to me as soon as you can.

publisher= versus work=
I noticed that you made a few changes to Hurricane Dean. I don't understand your choice to replace some publisher= fields with work= fields, in some of the {{cite web}} templates. Can you explain that to me? Plasticup /C 20:29, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Per Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style (text formatting)#Italic face, newspapers should be in italics, and the "work" parameter in the cite templates automatically puts the text in italics. There are other journals in the Hurricane Dean article that also need to be italised, which my AWB programme didn't pick up on. Epbr123 (talk) 20:39, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- The "work=" field is for instances when the cited item is part of a larger work. If I were citing the day's paper then the specific article would be only one part of the larger work and the work= field would be appropriate. However the citation specifically identifies the individual article. I am citing the article, not the article within the periodical, so the publisher= field is appropriate. Plasticup /C 21:16, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- If the article was found in a book rather than a newspaper, would you put the book name in the publisher field? Regardless of which field the newspapers belong, they still need to be italicised. Epbr123 (talk) 21:47, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Then {{Cite web}} needs to incorporate a feature for that. "work=" has specific and purpose, and this is not it. Plasticup /C 22:17, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism by 207.235.145.14
This is just to let you know that anonymous IP 207.235.145.14 has continued to vandalize (such as the three edits to Police officer on 22 September) even though you gave this IP a final warning for vandalism on 11 September. Please block this IP if you think it's appropriate. Thanks. JTSchreiber (talk) 02:57, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Protection
I would highly suggest protecting or semi-protecting you talk page because i see vandals have been 'experimenting' with it. Vinson 23:18, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'd like to, but it's best not, just incase one has a legitimate complaint. Epbr123 (talk) 23:20, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
100,000+ edits!
Wow, you've broken a record: 100,309 edits on Misplaced Pages, mostly from Huggle! Keep on with the fighting -- sooner or later you'll be in the top 20... SchfiftyThree 01:51, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- Shhh ... you'll get me accused of having editcountitis. :) Epbr123 (talk) 05:00, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Harry Potter
Hey, Harry Potter is currently a FAC, could you please give it one of your famous skim-throughs? I'd really appreciate it, regards —— RyanLupin • (talk) 15:50, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'll look at it tomorrow. Epbr123 (talk) 22:49, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello. Is commons:Image:The seaward end of Herne Bay pier.jpg really one of yours? I don't mean to pry, but this comes up at Geograph. Angus McLellan (Talk) 15:26, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- No, it isn't mine. I think I uploaded it about the same time I was uploading some of my own images, and accidentally used the same cut-and-paste description. I'll get it fixed. Epbr123 (talk) 15:58, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Class=FL & table at UK Geo
Hi, Thanks for doing the class=FL edit at Template:WPUKgeo. The category is populated at Category:FL-Class UK geography articles & I've run the status bot & refreshed the page at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject UK geography which is showing the increased number of GAs etc I found but the "Assessment and progress of articles" table, which loads {{Misplaced Pages:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/UK geography articles by quality statistics}} still doesn't show FLs. Any ideas why?— Rod 16:15, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Cancel that request I've fixed it myse3lf by rerunning the bot.— Rod 16:38, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Do you think it is worth updating Misplaced Pages:WikiProject UK geography/Assessment/Archive? I could have a go if you like - I think I can work out your syntax.— Rod 16:49, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm happy for you to update it if you want. I intended to do it eventually, but hadn't gotten round to it. Epbr123 (talk) 16:55, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- I've done it. Found the columns a bit complicated & unnecessary - why not just one month above another with more recent first?— Rod 19:40, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I've removed the columns now. Epbr123 (talk) 21:30, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Rollback rights for Flewis
Hi, I saw on Flewis's talk page ] that you had given him rollback rights. Take a look at the discussion of his editing and you may consider taking back those rights. He writes "When you're in my situation reverting 15 or 20 vandalism-related edits per minute". Don't know how he can make any kind of informed judgment about edits at 3 to 4 secs. LuxNevada (talk) 16:10, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- I have responded and I clarify once more: this was in all essence a complete accident (Surely this minor incident does not warrant removal of rollback?) --Flewis 12:36, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Everyone makes mistakes with Huggle, but you seem to be making more mistakes than most. You're still new to Huggle, so I won't remove your rollback or Huggle access just yet, but their will need to be an improvement in your accuracy. Although, most of your vandal-fighting has been excellent. Epbr123 (talk) 12:43, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, will do --Flewis 13:09, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism of Vince McMahon...
The IP address 209.147.23.38 has been warned to stop vandalising several times. Two times for vandalism for the article Ku Klux Klan, in which another person made those warnings. Then you for Vince McMahon and then I had to revert vandalism again after you issued that warning. This also seems to be a Los Angelos School IP so if this is a school, I think a range block for a short amount of time should be in place if they don't heed this warning. Thanks and Happy editing.
HairyPerry 16:48, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- I've given them a final warning. Let me know if you see them vandalise again, or report them to Misplaced Pages:Administrator intervention against vandalism . Epbr123 (talk) 16:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Just to let you know that IP has been since blocked from editing. Thanks and happy editing. HairyPerry 18:37, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
