Given the level of dysfunction that has come to prevail on Misplaced Pages, the most appropriate course for a principled scientist is to withdraw from the project.

The bureaucracy should either take corrective steps to fix this situation, or else suffer the eventual loss of huge amounts of valuable talent and volunteered resources.

From the editor Hello, Smith Jones. This is the fifth issue of WikiProject Puerto Rico's newsletter. The newsletter is intended to help all members to keep up with the latest news relating to the project. I will continue Eddie's format and willingness to include new material by request. Se levanta un gigante dormido Saludos to all, I present to you the new version of our project's Newsletter. It has been almost a year since the last edition, but rest assured that we haven't been lazy. Our Good Article count has raised by 11, while we have produced two Featured Lists and two Featured Articles. I will tweak the delivery format, from now on the Newsletter will be delivered per season. That means four anual editions, one for summer, fall, winter and spring. Speaking of summer, it has been a hot one, make sure to check out the project news below. Project News Automotivado joined the project on July 24. We welcome him and recognize his efforts in Puerto Rico Islanders and other articles covering Association football in Puerto Rico. Keep up the good work! Reverie has returned after an extended hiatus. She needs help finding new projects for her portfolio, if you have any image requests, please help her in this task. Román Baldorioty de Castro, Francisco Coimbre, Lolita Lebrón and Félix Trinidad are now of Good Article quality. List of Major League Baseball players from Puerto Rico passed Featured List Nomination on July 10. Puerto Rican Amazon passed Featured Article nomination on August 14. A fact from Hector Feliciano was featured in the "Did you Know?" section of the main page on August 16. Puerto Rican Campaign is currently a Good Article nominee, suggestions for improvement are welcomed.
Puerto Rican Highlight On August 3, Tarah Gieger became the first athlete from Puerto Rico to win a gold medal at the Summer X Games. (ESPN Deportes) In 2007, Gieger also became the first woman to participate at a Motocross des Nations, being part of Team Puerto Rico.

Thanks for seeing it for the way it is

I could not agree with you more on your comment on the E. O. Green School Shooting talk page. The majority of that article is or appears to me, to have been written from the liberal/leftist POV. For the sake of the project it must be improved. I have tried many times to have it changed to reflect NPOV policy. Let's hope other editors are willing to do that. Again, thanks for helping out. RfC on Weathermen, Ayers, Dohrm, Obama, and "terrorism"

Please note that I have created an RfC to discuss the matter of whether, how, and where we should use and cover the designation "terrorist" describe the Weathermen and their former leaders. The intent is to decide as a content matter (and not as a behavioral issue regarding the editors involved) how to deal with this question.
