If you're going to repeatedly vandalize dinosaur articles could you at least learn how to spell "theory" please? Sheep81 05:18, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Editing concerns
Pianoloverizme, welcome to wikipedia. It is always good to see another new editor willing to jump in with both feet and help us to build the encyclopedia. It has been brought to my attention that you have been involved in a little bit of conflict over at Talk:Parasaurolophus. As a more experienced editor I would be happy to help you avoid conflict and contribute in a constructive way to the encyclopedia. We were all new here once -- and it can take a little while to get the hang of things around here.
A couple of thoughts about your current conflict (and please take these as suggestions to make your experience here more pleasant -- I am not trying to be critical of you at all):
- You are not likely to change the status quo at an article like Parasaurolophus -- the scientific interpretation of the history of dinosaurs which is used as the basis for that article is too well-known, cited to reliable sources, and widely accepted to be overturned any time soon.
- However, there are other articles, specifically about the Christian interpretation of history, which you might find it easier to help improve; some good starting places might be: Creationist perspectives on dinosaurs, Creationism (and any of the topic on the sidebar in that article, especially Young Earth creationism).
- Always remember that talk pages are for discussing the content of articles. It is considered in appropriate to comment on other editors or their beliefs (even if they behave badly and attack your beliefs -- always take the high road). Further, you will never convert someone on a wikipedia talk page by challenging their beliefs - you would do much better to let your behavior and conduct here witness to what you believe.
