Friedrich-Jobst Volckamer von Kirchensittenbach (16 April 1894 – 3 April 1989) was a highly decorated General der Gebirgstruppe in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the 16. Armee. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Friedrich-Jobst Volckamer von Kirchensittenbach was captured by Soviet troops in the Courland Pocket in May 1945 and was held until 1955.
