The Shears (Hada plebeja) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Europe.

The wingspan is 30–35 mm. The length of the forewings is 14–17 mm. The moth flies from early June to early July. The larvae feed on Smooth Hawksbeard, Hieracium pilosella and Alfalfa.
