The following discussions are requested to have community-wide attention:

Misplaced Pages talk:In the news

Creating a subpage of Misplaced Pages:In the news and adding more recent events there.

Details of proposal--There are several nominations in Misplaced Pages:In the news/Candidates which are rejected for lack of notability (I am not talking abut the ones rejected because of quality problems). Those articles (including the ones accepted) can be added to a subpage of Misplaced Pages:In the news for example with the name Misplaced Pages:In the news/More. A link to that page can be added to Template:In the news saying More current events here in place of the recently removed Read more at Wikinews line. With the English Wikinews not updating frequently and facing several hurdles (take a look here) I think it would be better to provide several recent news here. Moreover it will further promote updating of the Wikipedian articles. Administrators can take the decision whether to promote an article to the Main page or to Misplaced Pages:In the news/More. - Jayadevp13 07:06, 19 July 2013 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages talk:Naming conventions (Vietnamese)

This page was changed from proposal status to guideline status 11 February 2011 without discussion on Talk page. Page appears never to have had either a proposal, nor a seconder, and principally reflects the views of 1 editor. (Q1) should Misplaced Pages:Naming conventions (Vietnamese) be returned from Category:Misplaced Pages naming conventions to Category:Misplaced Pages naming conventions proposals until it has gone through a consensus editing, proposal and adoption process? (Q2) if the answer to Q1 is yes then Q2 should the {proposed} banner be restored, or alternatively replaced with the {historical} banner? In ictu oculi (talk) 16:50, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Village pump (proposals)

Currently, there are about 200 indefinite rangeblocks on various IPs, most of which are non-required now. A previous proposal on this Village Pump, which sought to remove these old rangeblocks under controlled conditions passed successfully. This proposal is to finalize all the various details on that proposal, and to carry forward with it.
