Articles on Armenia and Azerbaijan are subject to Arbcom sanctions

File:Yes
The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to Armenia-Azerbaijan and related conflicts. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. If you continue to misconduct yourself on pages relating to this topic, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read at the "Final decision" section of the decision page.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.

Disambiguation link notification for December 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1999 Armenian parliament shooting, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Peace process (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dear Konullu, Mount Ararat isn't located near Lake Van as you tried present. Ararat is of great significance for Armenians, but nobody denies the fact that currently it is located in Turkey. --Երևանցի 16:54, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Dear Yerevanchi, no matter how it is important for Armenians (Ararat debate is another topic), it situated in Turkey and your map wrongly shows that it is in Armenia. It needs to be corrected. Best, Konullu (talk) 20:28, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Yerevanci. Here is the infobox. Does it show Ararat in Armenia? --Երևանցի 20:47, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Isn't the red triangle in Armenia?! Best, Konullu (talk) 20:49, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Are you kidding me? --Երևանցի 20:55, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
See the reply on my talk page. The map does not show the red triangle in Armenia. Viewfinder (talk) 21:16, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
The map is misleading, the borders of Turkey and some other lines (seems like borders) show that it is not in Turkey. I think we need to ensure the following points: a) whether borders of Turkey are correct in that map; b) whether coordinates of Mount Ararat are correct. At least one of these is not correct, if both were correct, then this peak has to be within territories of Turkey. Best, Konullu (talk) 21:20, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

I am sorry Konullu, but the red triangle is very clearly without the borders of Armenia. Ararat is close to Turkey's border. Therefore it is not clear from the low resolution map that it is within Turkey, but the border is question in with Iran, not Armenia. If you view the full resolution map, you can clearly see Ararat within Turkey. The coordinates are certainly correct, their author is an experienced GPS user and I have checked them against DEM data and topographic maps. Viewfinder (talk) 02:43, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

On a separate matter regarding the youtube link on your user page about how a "ragtag" band created wikipedia: this came across to me as yet another attack on its creators that was quite frankly not even worth checking out, and I concluded that your coordinate edit was the work of yet another sneaky vandal with the aim of undermining wikipedia. I now see that "ragtag" was not used in a derogatory context, it was used by Jimmy Wales himself, and conclude that your coordinate edits, albeit mistaken, were made in good faith. Vandalism

Please brush up on the definition. I don't think you are well acquainted with Misplaced Pages's concept of ill-will edits.--Marshal Bagramyan (talk) 00:07, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Alphabetize template

I undid your addition of this template to Chinese cuisine. The order at the moment is not arbitrary but orders them by their notability or significance. Sorting them alphabetically would just be confusing, and hard because the regional cuisines have both Chinese and English names listed.--JohnBlackburnedeeds 01:59, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

You've been mentioned at WP:Arbitration enforcement

Hello Konullu. Please see WP:AE#Sprutt, where a complaint has been made that you made changes at Armenia Fund that are not neutral. If you wish to respond, please create a new section of that AE report and write your own comment. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 16:55, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Arbitration enforcement warning

As discussed in the recent arbitration enforcement thread, please take particular care to observe our neutral point of view policy when editing about Armenia or Azerbaijan, or you may be made subject to sanctions as described at Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan 2#Standard discretionary sanctions.  Sandstein  10:00, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Topic ban

Per this thread on WP:AE, you are now topic-banned indefinitely from all edits to articles or discussions relating to Armenian–Azerbaijani conflicts, broadly construed. This restriction will be logged at WP:ARBAA2. If you wish to appeal against it, you may do through the procedures outlined at the top of WP:AE. Fut.Perf. 19:49, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

Reminder to administrators: In March 2010, ArbCom adopted a procedure prohibiting all administrators "from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page." Administrators who reverse an arbitration enforcement block, such as this one, without clear authorisation will be summarily desysopped.
