Judith A. Curry is an American climatologist currently working for the Georgia Institute of Technology. She specializes in Hurricane Research and Atmospheric Sciences
In 1974 she received a B.S. cum laude from Northern Illinois University in Geography, and received her Ph.D. in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Chicago in 1982.
Career
Dr. Curry has conducted research into possible connections between hurricane intensity and global warming and has co-authored and written several books and papers related to her field.
While she supports the scientific opinion on climate change, she has written that Climatologists should be more transparent in their dealings with the public saying, "This whole concept of, ‘We’re the experts, trust us,’ has clearly gone by the wayside".
