Charlie Buckton is a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away, played by actress Esther Anderson since 2008. Buckton arrived in Summer Bay in June 2008. She is a senior constable at the local police station. In March 2009, the character was the center of some controversy as Home and Away producers revealed they were introducing a "lesbian storyline" in which Buckton would fall in love with another female character, Joey Collins, played by Kate Bell.
