The discography of Barbadian singer Rihanna consists of three studio albums, one remix album, fourteen singles, twelve music videos and one live DVD. She has featured as a guest artist on four charting singles by other performers, and contributed to nine other songs on other artists' albums. She has also provided one original recording for a film soundtrack, and one original song to promote a range of Clinique products.

Rihanna's music incorporates various styles of musical genres, including R&B, dance-pop, pop rock and the Caribbean music styles of reggae and dancehall. Her debut single, "Pon de Replay", was released on August 22, 2005. It performed well in English speaking countries, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States, the United Kingdom Singles Chart, and the Irish Singles Chart. It reached number one in New Zealand and number six in Australia. It was later certified platinum in the US and gold in Australia. Music of the Sun, Rihanna's first album, had distinct Caribbean reggae rhythms and dancehall beats fused with synthesised urban dance-pop. It was released at the end of August 2005 and performed moderately well in charts around the world. In the US, it reached number ten on the Billboard 200, number thirty-five on the UK Albums Chart, number twelve on the Irish Albums Chart, and also appeared on other European charts. Its highest chart position was number seven on the Top Canadian Albums Chart. It was certified gold in the US and UK, and platinum in Canada. The album produced two further singles, "Let Me", which was only released in Japan, and "If It's Lovin' that You Want".

The following year, her second album was released. A Girl like Me, which had a less tropical but greater urban sound, performed better in the charts than Music of the Sun and reached number one in Canada. It was certified platinum in the US, Canada, Australia, Europe and the UK. The album's lead single, SOS, reached number one in the US, Australia and Canada, number two in the UK, and number three in many other European countries. Three other singles were released from A Girl Like Me: "Unfaithful", "We Ride", and "Break It Off". Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna's third album, was released in June 2007. It dropped the dancehall, reggae and ballad styles of her previous albums and featured a more European dance-pop sound. The first single from the album, "Umbrella", featured a rap by Jay-Z and reached number one in more than nine countries. "Shut Up and Drive", "Don't Stop the Music" and "Hate That I Love You", a duet with Ne-Yo, were also released as singles. In 2008, Good Girl Gone Bad was re-released and retitled Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. It featured three new songs, "Take a Bow", "Disturbia", and a rerecorded Maroon 5 song, "If I Never See Your Face Again"—all were released as singles. "Rehab", featuring Justin Timberlake, was the eight single taken from Good Girl Gone Bad. In 2009, Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes was released, containing radio-edit remixes of eleven tracks from Good Girl Gone Bad.
