Pszenno (Template:Lang-de) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Świdnica, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.
It is located approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Świdnica, and 47 kilometres (29 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The Weizenrodau (earlier also Wazygenrode) Evangelical inhabitants belonged to the Friedenskirche (Peace church) in nearby Schweidnitz and since 1741 to the (county) Landkreis Schweidnitz. Until 1773 the Catholic Church belonged to the Jesuits of Schweidnitz.
It was until the Soviet Communist take-over 1945 in Germany. Then Polish administration translated part of the German townname Weizen (English: wheat) to Polish: Pszenno.
The name Weizenrodau literally means wheat uprooting and indicates that German settlers of the 13th century had cleared the place to grow wheat. The ancestors of the Watzenrode family of Prussia came from here.
