Dafna Dekel is an Israeli singer born in 1966 in the city of Ashdod, in the south of Israel. She served in the Israeli Army as a singer from 1986 to 1988, moving on to work in the Israeli musical Salah Shabati, as well as record her first, self-titled, album.

In 1992 Dafna represented Israel in the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest, held in the Swedish city of Malmö. Singing an upbeat song entitled Ze Rak Sport (English version: Viva Sport) comparing courtship to sport, she came 6th with 85 points.

Seven years later she co-presented the 44th Eurovision Song Contest with Yigal Ravid and Sigal Sachmon.
